Farah Ashraf

Ms. Farah Ashraf is a Research Officer at SCRC, completed her Bachelors and Masters in Biotechnology from the Department of Biotechnology, University of Karachi. Her current assignment at Stem Cell Research Centre (SCRC), SZABIST is to propagate Banana Bunchy Top Virus (BBTV) free plantlets via micropropagation and subject to disease index plants, after which the plants are regularly analyzed against infection employing molecular techniques like PCR and ELISA. Furthermore, she is involves in tissue culturing of various ornamental plants including i.e. Orchids, Ixora, Anthurium and Lily.
