Saima Ilyas

Saima ilyas has done her MSc (genetics) from Karachi University. she joined szabist’s stem cell research center (SCRC) as Research officer She worked on Neuroscience laboratory, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kaneez Fatima Shad on projects (The Effect of New Herbal Compound on the memory of Monosodium Glutamate treated rats & role of K +channels in learning & memory processes) at Dr.Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan. Participates in different hand on workshops 1st Nationwide patch clamp on November 2008 at Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan.  Hand –on workshop on “An introduction to simple collection on March 2009 Dow University of Health Sciences. H.E.C. –COMSTECH on July 2009 KIBGE thematic workshop in frontier technology on “Enhanced production of recombinant Bio molecules of commercial Importance. “on July 2009.First national patch clamp work shop on December 2009 at Dr.Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research,( ICCBS).Participated in 11th international symposium on natural product chemistry, 2008.Training of visiting students from UAE, presented by UAE University, 2009.she also have certificate of presentations from All Pakistan Science Conference on January 2008. She got first prize in the world women Neuroscience Symposium on July 2010 in poster competition.

She is the life time of member of Pakistan Society of Basic and Applied Neuroscience
